Surgical Safety Technologies partners with GSI's Kyabirwa Surgical Center

Surgical Safety Technologies announces its support for an innovative collaboration between the Mount Sinai Global Surgery Program and GSI's Kyabirwa Surgical Center in Eastern Uganda, by leveraging OR Black Box®.

As part of this collaboration, OR Black Box allows surgeons at the Kyabirwa Surgical Center to build and access a library of surgical videos, provide structured feedback, and utilize cases for training and research. OR Black Box technology combines audiovisual data capture with artificial intelligence to analyze the entire surgical experience, including the procedure and the surgical environment, offering a systematic approach to capturing and sharing surgical expertise and driving continuous quality improvement across both institutions.
