On the sidelines of UNGA, GSI discusses diversity in clinical trials during a Clinton Global Initiative roundtable discussion
On the sidelines of the 79th United Nations General Assembly in New York, GSI discussed opportunities to unlock diversity in clinical trials alongside esteemed private and public sector guests invited to attend a closed-doors roundtable discussion hosted by Clinton Global Initiative. During this session, GSI’s CEO, Sarah van Hellenberg Hubar-Fisher, outlined GSI’s ongoing efforts to better understand, and identify, fundamental genetic variants predisposing local patient communities, including women, to specific disease subgroups and subtypes to inform the development of effective diagnostic and therapeutic approaches tailored to local populations groups, contexts, and conditions.
