Honourable Minister of Health of Uganda, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng Ocero, visits Kyabirwa Surgical Center

Dr Aceng was on an official visit to Global Surgical Initiatives' flagship facility, the Kyabirwa Surgical Center, to see how the surgical centre is complimenting the government work

During her official visit to Global Surgical Initiatives' flagship facility, the Kyabirwa Surgical Center, Dr Aceng indicated being impressed and intrigued the ambulatory surgical care model which offers great potential in addressing the backlog of surgical cases in Uganda. Her visit set the stage for the establishment of a formal collaboration between the Kyabirwa Surgical Center and the Ministry of Health of Uganda. Found out more.
